The Detox

• On an agreed date the Clinical Nurse Specialist will arrive prepared to begin the home detox. Nurses are not in uniform so you can be assured that they will blend into your surroundings ensuring discretion.
• As specialists in addictions, our nurses will be experienced in anticipating the withdrawal symptoms and will medicate accordingly providing you with the maximum comfort. Most people fear their withdrawals and expect they will be in bed for the duration. In our experience we find that the majority of our clients are feeling much better after a few days and we are able to begin the steps to restore, refocus and re-engage you in your daily life.
• During this time the nurse will be able to support and listen to those who have been most affected by your using, and assist you in rebuilding those bridges.
